What to wear with dress

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I just bought this dress and I want to wear it tomorrow, unfortunatly its a bit see-through to wear on its own. I don't really want to wear it with jeans like the picture and I might not be able to find a slip for it in time. Any ideas what I could wear it with? x

Leggings, nice wee pumps/high heels and a fuckload of jewellery. Sorted.

Or if you fancy keeping it casual, washed out white/cream cap sleeved fitted tshirt, leggings and plain pumps.

I thought of leggings but I was worried I might be too hot! Do you mean black leggings?

Or dark grey, what are you wearing it for?

Leggings would be good. Although I'd stay with black, I'm not a fan of leggings on other colours. I suppose it depends where you are wearing it - if it's just for daytime and don't want to get hot, wear some denim shorts underneath.

Just going out to town - end of exams celebration type thing. I have got black and dark greeny-gray leggings. Considering wearing black skinny jeans hmm. Hopefully getting some red pumps tomorrow otherwise I'm planning to wear black

Oooh greeny grey sounds fab. Wear them. :D

See how it looks with black skinny jeans, but I know it's about 24 or something down south just now so maybe the leggings'd look best as they're more versatile. Go with the leggings.

I'd go for the ones that stop just below the knee, calf length ones.

Footless ones are a bit too wintery.

Yars thats what I thought, but I only have calf-length tights and thats too see-through! I'll try the leggings, see if I can pull em up a bit without them bunching because they're not quite down to my ankles.

I'm still wearing footless tights that I got for NYE. I'll have to get myself pair of leggings.

Personally I'd go with white leggins just below the knee and red shoes. :)

But actually no... black would give it a bit of wow.

Hmm... whatever you can get your hands on really. :)

    Nice dress btw.
