does anyone know much about it?

or infact much about the spanish civil war...?

i need to try and relate it to the manic street preachers song if you tolerate this then your children will be next, which was about the spanish civil war, but i just found out about the welsh contribution, and google is giving me no joy, so i wondered if anyone else knew much about it?

thanks

Don't know much about the Welsh contribution but I know some of the Irish. Many socialist Irish men went and fought against Franco and some of the Blueshirt brigade went and for for him.

Land & Freedom is a Ken Loach film. One of my fave films.

I thoroughly recommend the Anthony Beevor book on the Spanish Civil War.

Bob Doyle's "Brigadista-An Irishman's fight against fascism" is another good one.

I don't know much about the Welsh contribution other than that the sheep still speak of it, even today.
