Why do you care? It's not your business. :yeees:

I thought climate change was everyone's business. :p

Nah seriously, I don't resent the people who buy these things in reality. I resent the whole media push, which is blatantly funded by advertisers looking to make a fortune out of it. Like I said, there's no money in promoting people to consume less. Naturally, taking the piss out of people who fall for it hook, line and sinker comes with the territory. :p

On a personal level, I was taking the piss out of my mum the other day, because I'm convinced she's only reusing a completely wrecked plastic bag because it says "Selfridges" on the side, and we don't have one round here. I love the whole reusing the plastic bags from M&S and throwing away the Netto ones. Funny as fuck.

    Just a question... Why?

Do you have other priorities? Do you not believe in climate change?

Just a question, not a criticism.

Mixture of a few things. Mostly idleness and apathy.

I recycle, (well my mum makes me) and don't have my own car, but I certainly wont be stopping flying in an attempt to save the planet. I'm not that green :D

for example I take a bath now and again and this wastes water (there's less water in the south east per person, than in Saudi Arabia)

thats because they have fuck off big desalinisation plants. water is far from being in short supply.

I recycle because I have to, and I drive a big fuck-off car to work. And I'm sat here typing this using electricity on a computer made from god-knows what chemicals.
    Never mind.

WEll, been away cos my computer's been broke but thought this over... (I think too much).

Anyway, first lol I grow plants for fun not cannabis. It's my secret pastime. Not any good at it, they grow themselves really. Other than that I'm not terribly energy efficient. My computer remains turned on most of the time, though I just bought a power supply with over 85% efficiency which has been touted as an environmentally friendly one, if there is such a thing. (lookie - "These new power supplies' energy-efficient operation reduces power consumption by up to 20% compared with traditional power supplies, saving users money. Also generating less heat, and enabling cooling with a smaller, slower, quieter fan. Active PFC circuitry further reduces impact on the power infrastructure. The result is cooler, quieter, and more environmentally friendly power.")

But the thing I was going to say is that I had noticed as well that green seems to be a fashionable thing almost, rather than the actual belief in reducing energy footprints (in some cases, for those who like to take offence). So yea, a bit of snobbiness about it sometimes and also the people who drive in their 4x4s to the recycling point to prove they're 'doing their bit'.

If my plans go well, I will have saved the transport costs of a small pack of strawberries by the end of the summer :D by using solar power to grow my own right in my back garden! Although it's stupid, I find growing plants actually quite exciting :p.

I hope you didn't throw your old one in a landfill though. ;)

My computer case just has awesome air circulation, so I don't even have the fans plugged in at the moment. Well exepct one.

No :p it's going back to the people who sold it to me, who can shove it up their arses and give me my money back. Then likely they'll send it back to the manufacturers who will give them their money back, and sell it to a firm that specialises in stripping capacitors off it and stuff (my mate used to do it). :p

I've 4 fans, but they're all 120mm that are on low speed. Mind you, then I have a 22" monitor :D on 100 brightness.
