Random question - but i felt really spaced out this morning after having taken some when I woke up at 6am in pain and then at lunch time I gave some to my college who now also feels spaced out as well.

I just wondered if anyone else had encountered this phenomenon

There's some slight bug going round a few people I know slightly headachey not feeling right and a bit spaced out, it could be that and unrelated to the nurofen.

I thought you were only meant to take one twice a day? (or was it three?)

I think the otc dose is 3x400mg a day, so 2 tablets 3 times a day if you take the standard 200mg ones.

    I have this!

Edit: I'm taking Beecham's flu plus for the effects.

i've experienced that when i o/d'ed on ibroprofen.
it is aside effect of the drug. though i wouldn't think you should feel liek t hat if you only take the standard dose. having said that if you do experience side effects you should stop taking the drug.
