Firefox problem

Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I deleted a folder called backup, which I think was a Firefox backup folder. Now Firefox won't start when logged in under my main log in (power user), giving a message "Firefox is already running but is not responding, please close all Firefox processes and try again". It starts OK when logged in as admin.

I have tried uninstalling it, but nothing happens, it refuses to uninstall. I've also reinstalled it without uninstalling, it still refuses to run.

Help!

Try this, I assume your on Windows?

In your account press "CTRL+ALT+DEL" >> click "Processes" and look for "Firefox.exe" and then press "End Processes" - restart FF.

    There were no firefox.exe processes.

Got it sorted though, thanks. :)
