Coloured shoes

I'm very unadventurous with shoes. All my shoes and even my trainers are black. I have got it into my head that wearing all black makes me look taller.

I also think at least black shoes will go with everything, while coloured shoes may not match.

But I've seen some lovely red flats..am tempted.

Do you wear coloured shoes? Do you think they make people look shorter?

I hate white shoes

    I have a bazillion pairs of shoes, and they are all kinds of different colours!! If you are wanting to be adventurous, start of with coloured converse baseball boots, loads of people wear them, and they come in all kinds of cool colours!! :D

    i have shoes in almost every colour! pink, purple, turquoise, mustard...i am addicted to shoes though!

    only buy them if ya gonna have something to wear them with!x

    I've got a pair of little red flats, and I love them madly. You do have to be careful what you wear them with, but they can do wonders for a plain outfit. I've got some electric blue ones too.

    I'm after some apple green or dark pink ones next, but I'm fussy about shoe colours, so haven't tracked down the perfect shade of either yet :(

    Do I think they make me look short? Probably. Mainly because I AM short ;)

    i think a funky pair of brightly coloured shoes really help to brighten up an outfit, so yeah, go for it, especially as you can get some quite cheap in the shops at the mo, so you can experiment and see if you like them without it costing you heaps

    I went out last week and bought five pairs, (you can tell ive just got my loan!!!)

    I really want some smarties Dr Martens, but can't find them anywhere, i love love love em!!!! :thumb:

    I don't own any coloured shoes. I have a pair of white trainers, a pair of black trainers, black shoes and a couple pairs of black boots.

    i bought some mustang ones recently, they have quite a bit of orange on, but a dull brownish colour aswell, so they aren't too wild. but they are quite possibly the funkiest ones i have ever owned. i just hope they do not look too childish.

    I love multicoloured shoes! Today I was wearing white pointy ones with green blue and red flowers on. I just bought a pair of emerald green wedges, and a pair of brown pointy ones. Lovely jubly!

    I just white trainer, and all my shoes/boots/other trainers are black. I'm not really interested in shoes anyway.

    I have bright pink, silver, purple, white, red, turquoise. Coloured shoes are great but I do wear black ones more often, they're just easier to throw on and not have to think about and them look right.

    I LOVE coloured shoes. New Look is good if you're looking for cheap-as-chips brightly coloured flatties. Toshop do some brilliant pumps too in all different colours. I don't think they make you look shorter, and they're great for brightening up an outfit. Do it!

    katy i cant believe every single pair of shoes you own are black! i'd never be able to cope! i have about 20 pairs of ballet pump style shoes in every colour/pattern imaginable haha. they're dead good cos i have a pair that goes with nearly every outfit. and they can add a bit of colour to a boring outfit.

    i dont think they make people look smaller :]

    I have dark green, bright green, light green, red, leopard, and purple pumps. But more often than not I will wear my trusty black shoes. Never fail me!

    high heel wise, all of them are bright colours :) multicoloured, red, pink, sparkly.. u name it ive probably got a pair that colour.. maybe!

    as for everyday shoes, i dont reeeally have very many coloured ones! im quite boring when it comes to those, and generally tend to go for black.

    however, saying that - i DID buy a pair of pink ballet type shoes from office today for 20 quid!
    i also have some green converse.. but thats about it!!
