Better than Ecstacy

Anyone know about a drug called Nexus? I checked it on Erowid.com and it sounds pretty good. One of my friends tried it and said it was better than E. I'm just wondering whats up with this drug I know it's newer someone fill me in please.

    2C-B or 4-bromo-2,5-dimethoxyphenethylamine is a drug first synthesised by Alexander Shulgin in the 80's.

    It is a phenethylamine and it is similar to mescaline. It has a short duration of appox. 6 hours.

    Typical oral dose is 20 - 25mg.

    In the mid-90's a person was able to buy this drug legally from on-line suppliers.

    What other information are you looking for that you could not find on Erowid???

    2cb is a weak form of E with a more trippy feel to it.

    its nice but nothing more.

    2C-B is nothing like MDMA. They are not even closely related. One is a phenethylamine the other an amphetamine analogue.

    In small doses (10mg) 2C-B can be euphoric and therefore resemble MDMA. However with a larger dose (20-35mg) you had better be careful if you are expecting an MDMA experience because you are going to be knocked on your arse!

    2C-B is a very powerful entheogen and at higher doses it can produce effects similar to a very strong dose of LSD - but as I mentioned in the previous post it is similar to mescaline and not a weak MDMA.

    That's interesting Amethyst because I understand that Phenethylamine is the chemical that the body produces when you fall in love & I've also heard that it can be found in chocolate!

    Having said that, I was once ridiculed for stating that, so don't quote me on it. I may be talking about phenylalanine C6H5CH2CH(NH2)COOH which is a known mood enhancer & also influences chemicals in the brain that relate to pain sensation.
