As someone that regulary uses ecstasy, I feel the need to say that my opinion is that if the right precautions are taken, and the drug is taken in moderation, then the drug is safe in the short term.

I and many of my friends who also use it, are more worried about the long-term effects such as depression.

If you can be bothered to read it there is an intresting article about the possible long term effects. It's a very fair article and site for that matter, unlike government drug info.

I have sort of mixed feelings on E's. They are actually quite a safe drug when taken in moderation, but when you start taking more often or in large quantities they arent so good. Unfortunatley, Ive experienced the latter to the extreme and it wasnt fun at all. The days after were hell! Another thought is E's are safe in "civilised hands" but are dangerous for those that are of "sub human nature" due to the way they make you think whilst under the influence. E's can give you radical, spur of the moment thoughts that you want to fulfill as soon as possible!

I think any drug that you take can have the right or wrong effect. I'm sure everyone can remember a bad experience with drink, so why should drugs be so different?
