Any History Buffs on thesite?

Im stuck on how to start my essay on how various governments tried to unite italy between 1860 - 1960. Im most stuck on Italians attitudes towards the governments at the time.

can anyone help?

    History was always my worst grade in my whole certificate, so I just put that along, I will try to help.

    The Italians didn't spend much attention to the government, that is because various eyewitnesses attested that aliens landed in the vatican and replaced the pope with one of their propoganda-aliens. So the plan was to brainwash all the italians, spread the word that condoms are bad so they procreate quickly. After a few years the alien-pope died however, because he was allergic to wine and that was it. I think meanwhile we write the year 1930 and inbetween are no historical chronicles, because the 'pope' forbade it.
