What is the Government scared of?

Why do they try to control us(and yes I do see it as us and them because i feel it is us and them, in the way that we do what they say (or thats what they'd like it to be) this world is no-ones to own, so why are we still told what we can and can't do TO OURSELFS?? Can that question be answered? Go on a good reason. Fair enough we are told are con't kill someone or theif from someone because that would be involving someone else and endangering or putting them out. So why are we not allowed to take E when we feel like having a special night out and for the people who want to take it 24/7 tell them what is most likely going to happen to them and TELL them if they are to go bad on them there will be no help from the government or NHS. Then maybe private insurance companys will start up and people will be prtected for it that way. Infact no i think the NHS and Government should help people on OD's or dehidrated or whatever it may be. because the NHS is willing to help people who have been racing in there cars and broke a few bones, or people who have poked themselves in the eye with a pen or something, or trip ped and broke a bone, or taken an overdose of a drug. All of these are accidents and that is what the A&E unit is for.
If the government legalised drugs...
FAR FAR less people would be in prison, costing the government FAR FAR les money giving them more to pump in to the NHS (this must be enough to cover the costs of people on OD's or whatever the concequenses for legalising drugs and then more for beds or whatever they need.
So what exactly is it that the government is so scared of?? drugs, just a word, it can't be that....
"People say, 'We are losing the War on Drugs!' Well you know what that implies? There's a war going on, and the people on drugs are winning it!"
