Anyone needing a 'large' shouldn't even consider wearing that top :yuck:

What if you have large breasts or are tall and need a large, having nothing to do with weight, as I can only assume you mean?

Wtf you think a 12 is too big?
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
I'm not bothered about who wears it or how big or small they are. They all want their heads lookin for paying 50 quid for a stripey bandage.

    Large? it's a size 12!

    :eek2: God, how ridiculous.

I wouldn't buy it at all, but if I had to I wouldn't pay £50 for it either. You'd be hard pushed to get me to spend a fiver on it!

Are you saying size 12 girls don't have a figure to wear that top?!

I think its ming anyway. Its only £50 because of the label stuck on it.

I don't think ANYONE should wear that top. Regardless of size.

i think you're all taking what illora said the wrong way. the website describes a size 12 as large, not her.

I love the way people are almost trying to make Ilora slip up and be offensive, when perhaps is isnt being.

Ah my mates girlfriend would love one of them for her birthday, anything left in a XXL?

People aaalways do that on TheSite. "YOU SAY SOMETHING MILDLY DIFFERENT FROM MAINSTREAM PC OPINION? HOW DARE YOU!"

But she said that anyone who is that size shouldn't consider wearing it. She hasn't explained why.

I think the fault here lies with the website, or, more accurately, the designer. It was them who decided a size 12 was 'large'. The rest of humanity know that a size 12 is a healthy, enviable size. I think Ilora just made a passing comment saying that people who are maybe carrying a few extra stone should perhaps avoid wearing that top- it is rather skimpy and wouldn't be very flattering. The blame lies with the designer, not Ilora, come on ladies!

Aye, cleary they should have called their size 12 'extra medium'.
