Diploma v Degree

Now I know a Degree is far superior to a Diploma in most cases, but my question to you is this:

Are PostGraduate courses available to those who have completed a Diploma of Higher Education (worth about two thirds of a degree)?

Or does it then have to be "topped up" with a one year BA course?

Finally, what does this mean:

"The fees for the academic year 2006/2007 are £12,370 per year and to allow 3-4% increase annually in subsequent years.

UK & EU students are fees funded but are required to pay the student fee contibution of £3070 per academic year, either as a one off payment or by 3 termly installments. Students may be eligible to add this fee to their student loan"

Thanks for any help!

    Not sure about the DipHed, but the fees part basically means;

    To study at undergrad level, the fees cost a total of 12k+ but, the government pay most of that. What you have to pay is £3k+ a year. Although these days, they don't require instant payments/installments before you start your course, you can start paying for your degree after you've completed it.

    So that is just a more complicated way of saying the fees are the same as every other university?

    universities stipulate what the entry requirements are. check out with the university for what you want to do. on the most part postgraduate courses usually require a good first degree for entry.
