I've just been on politics forum, on a heroin debate thing and diesel has just said the us government are developing a vaccination that stops the high of weed, charlie, heroin etc from developing. Nooooooooooooooooooo I can't see how they'd implement it though, were safe anyway they couldn't force an adult to have anything, but if they make it a school thing then we could be the last chemical generation ? is it a good or bad idea ?

Don't worry... I go there a lot and I think that those 4 words mean that you can ignore it.

I don't think it includes pills, it seems to be the 'painkiller' type drugs he mentioned, but we'll go with mindless all the way on this one

I watched a programme about addiction a while ago and apparently 'vaccinations' against the effects of coke and nicotine have been found. I can't remember the exact science of it now, but it meant that if someone took the drug they wouldn't feel any effects and eventually realise that there was no point taking it.

I think that in some respects it would be a good idea to vaccinate kids at birth but obviously raises issues about people's right to choose (in the clockwork orange sense). Also it's unlikely that the gvmt would accept widespread nicotine vaccs considering the amount of money that it makes from the tobacco industry as it is.
