As I absolutely bugger all else to do this Wednesday night, I've spent the hour dicking about on iTunes deciding how i shall inform the world i have a phone call (and text for that matter). I have concluded on the following:

Phone: Johnny Cash - Big Bad John
Text: The Shins - Know your Onion!

What about everyone else, the sublime? the ridiculous? or the simple beep-beep?

    Mine's usually a recording of Don't You Forget Me (Breakfast Club theme tune) or O Verona from the Romeo and Juliet Soundtrack....

    My text noise is a quote from Ville Valo that says 'Music is my God, my best friend' - it scares the feck out of people though, because he's got such a growly voice hehe.

    My text is the sound of someone whisteling loudley. Bugs the snickers out of me but I can't get it to stay changed.

    Oh well, I like Snickers. ;)

    my phone was normally on silent.

    when it wasn't i normally had Peaches En Regalia by Frank Zappa as my ringtone.

    Just changed my ringtone from Pendulum's plastic world to bloc party's the prayer because i love the intro.

    Text tone is one of the standard SE defaults.

    Ringtone: Golden Skans (Looking to change it)

    Text: Used to be *beep beep" Mail Mutha Fucka! (from Eurotrip) but I got too many dirty looks fromt old ladies at the bus stop and once it went off in a supermarket and my mum shouted at me to change it. So it goes Ding-Dong!

    It goes ring-ring or beep-beep. Have had song ringtones in the past but they where always crap. Its off or on silent/vibrate about 80% of the time anyway.

    My ringtone atm, is Dolly Parton, 9 to 5, which my cousin kindly set on my phone for me as an in-joke :lol:

    My text message tone is Charlie Drake saying "Hello my darlings!", which drives everyone except me mental :) Especially if someone keeps on texting me and texting me :D

    Text is just a standard noise. I have different ringtones for different people though, my boyfriend rings as Magical Trevor :)

    My ring tone is the breakdown from a Drum & Bass tune by Phesta called Intergalactic, my txt is just the normal beep beep...

    My phone is on silent most of the time anyway.

    little bitch, big d and the kids table, and for texts papercut skin, the matches. unless i'm in the bath it's always on silent anyway cos it scares the absolute shit out of me in public.
