Liquid acid. In a bottle of mineral water. Advice please

Hi, I bought three drops of liquid acid at a club last night, but neither me nor the dealer had any blotters/sugar cubes, so he put the drops into my bottle of mineral water.

Was this a stupid idea? Will the dilution ruin it? Will it have the full effect if I drink it, or is it a better idea to soak it in bread or something?

cheers to anyone who can advise on this

    Lets have a look at the chemical breakdown:

    9,10-Didehydro-N,N-diethyl-6-methylergoline-8ß-carboxamide

    LSD is soluble in water, one thing to bear in mind though is that if its pretty potent stuff then it can be up to 50 times the dose of a normal tab, so be careful.

    Water will not cause chemical breakdown and just basically divide your 500ml bottle into 3 and thats the approximate (if mixed properly) single dose for one drop....

    There have been no well-documented human deaths resulting directly from the toxic effects of LSD itself, though LSD has been implicated in accidental deaths, suicides, and homicides.

    I'd best advise if your going to take it then do it gradually and see what result you'll get, don't drink the whole bottle as you won't know the toxicity of the LSD liquid.

    Brilliant - thanks vm for the advice. I was worried I'd chucked my money away. Can I just check - are you saying that it will be just as potent if I drink it as if I (say) soak it in bread? And (on slightly different note) does liquid tend to be exactly the same acid as you get on a blotter?

    thanks a lot

    To quote directly from Erowid's Vault;

    "A single drop of potent liquid LSD could be 50 times a normal dose, although it is generally diluted to the point where a single drop is equal to approximately one dose. This varies greatly from batch to batch, and is sometimes a weak dose while othertimes a very strong dose. Liquid LSD is uncommon. Be extremely careful when dealing with it as there is no way to guage it's potency."

    So as you can tell, you need to be careful, like I said before, do a little at a time and see the result... <IMG alt="image" SRC="smile.gif" border="0">

    Like I said before, no-one has ever died from overdosing but people have commited suicide and stuff...

    I know LSD is broken down by chlorine in tap water, but whether that goes for mineral water as well - I don't know.

    Whew.

    Certainly wasn't broken down or diluted, in any shape or form.

    I'd have said this before tonight, but in any case: LSD can evoke very, very profound and serious experiences, and taking it "for fun" is like crashing planes into buildings "for a laugh".
