I'm afraid we aren't all Perfect. And i capitalise words i think need emphasizing.
I'm in the middle of doing a 3000 word essay. I'm on 2650 and I still have loads more to say and need the word count to be at least 3500 words.
My great advice would be to write all you have to say, then go back through your essay and remove all the pointless words. You may not think you have any, but you will. Cut down anything ruthlessly. You'll be able to save loads of words on thinks where you've been unsure
"I was fairly certain" -> "I was certain"
or filler
"and also" -> "also" or "and"
Etc.
OMFG I hate this so much. In my swing bin I have two different coloured bags, black for rubbish, clear for plastics etc. No matter how many times I explain it to them, some people just can't understand that I REALLY don't want them to throw toast crusts, tea bags and fag ends away in the clear bag!
And the boy has just left. That bugs me
I mean, the tricks may work to some people, but when you've ordered something that's in demand, and every week they say 'the order has been delayed', it's pretty obvious to me I'm just at the bottom of a long list, and each order they get is being shipped to other customers, but they won't say that, because then you'll look around for another! (samsung bw226 if anyone is nosy)
Or when they tell me at 8.30pm that the item that was supposed to be delivered tomorrow isn't coming because they've been too busy to send it, then they don't say anything the next day, and only the day after when I chase up does he begrudgingly send an email saying 'check your email for update notifications' without an apology (amusingly, the automatic 'order has been delayed' email had an apology on it), then an hour later magically they've caught up to it and sent it on, but now it's the weekend and it won't arrive to monday, that's pretty annoying.
Reckon they should have upgraded it to saturday delivery :cool:
The fact that I have exams starting in 6 and a half weeks (ohfuck) and I haven't started revising yet because I'm too lazy
