Hi, sorry if theres already a thread about this but I've searched n can't find one.
I've always had spots on the top of my back since I was about 12 onwards, tho they're not as bad now, they're still there. Even if I don't touch the spots they still leave scars too. I've tried doing the usual scrubbing my back to death in the bath n tea tree n all that, but it doesnt seem to work. Also used stuff from the doctors, but its not a nice thing to use n it didn't really do much anyway, just got stuck to me clothes!
Just wondered if there is any sort of shower gels or anything out there that actually works in gettin rid of them. I don't mind if its a pricey product aslong as it works

It just annoyes me cos I can never wear nice tops or anything cos of it, its not that bad now, but I don't want people thinking I'm a scrubber cos of it :nervous:
I think its best you go to the doctors and they may refer you to a dermatologist and get it sorted once and for all
I'd reccoment using original source tea tree shampoo and conditioner, as well as their tea tree shower gel, daily.
Twice a week use a good scrub such as st ives apricot scrub. (i find that the acne ones eg. clean and clear, dont work)
Your washing detergent could also be contributing to it. Try adding a few drops of pure tea tree oil to a sensitive fabric softener.
eta: oh and you could also try having a "facial" style treatment on it, at a salon, every few weeks.
Try searching the health forum, this has come up in there before.
It smells MING though
Yeah, noticed there was something in the health one after I'd posted... naughty me for not checking that *slaps hand*
Also the pill is supposed to bw great for that kinda thing aswell, hope this helps
Mine wasn't actually that bad. It was just a few spots here and there, not like proper spots either, just red tiny bumps.
I never see other girls with this problem n I thought it was just me that was gross n spotty, thats what I meant, didn't mean to cause any offence if thats how it came accross by the way
I hope you manage to get something from the doctors that suits your skin. There are several things out there I think, so even if the first one you try doesnt work, its worth trying something else.
BUT, if you get Dianette and don't tell them you want it as contraceptive then you will have to pay for it, if you pretend you want it for your skin and as a contraceptive, then it's free.
Hope that helps a bit!
