anyone found any mushrooms yet?

i haven't been out 2 look for any yet, but my really good field is on exmoore and i am not 2 sure about the foot and mouth restriction because the was a bit of an outbreak of f&m there.

I first found some about a fortnight ago but they've just this last few days started popping out in numbers!

Done a few liberty caps alreasy and tried Fly Agarics (red ones with white warts) for the first time the other day. They're proper wierd. The buzz it gives you has loads of different stages. They make you puke, give you visulas, send you to sleep and then you get real hyper and you muscels start twitching and convulsing twitching. Mad shit but you gotta be careful with it and I wouldn't do 'em every day like ordinary shrooms.

i havn't tried shrooms before, but i found a liberty cap in my garden today. i thought it might be and then i checked it with a picture and it definatelly was. i could only see one in my garden but admittedly i wasn't trying very hard and there is a fookin huge field with woods and everything right out the back of my house and i could blatently find plenty of them out there if i tried. hmmmmmmmm......... this rases some intriguing possibilities........ <IMG alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/wink.gif"> if i do decide to give it a go, anyone got any advice or anything?

PS Don't do to many! They can make you flake out + can get you paranoid and mess with your head. In moderation they're fucking wicked though!

how many is too many? i have heard everything from 5 shrooms to 40, so i really dont know!

Liberty Caps: 40's good for a start
Fly Agaric: 2 medium caps dried in the ovens good to start.

Oh yes they are definatly out with style! This thursday I went with a car full of mates to a hill (thorncroft???) in Hay-on-wye at the top of the hill is a big old castle ruins and litterally millions of shrooms! All you have to do is sit down anywhere and reach around you for them. The coolest thing was their was about 100 other people there all picking at this same everlasting patch and a police car permenatly parked there completely powerless as hords of hippies walk past stuffed carrierbags aloft.

We managed to fill a three letre container in about an hour and a half. thats a couple of thousand mushrooms.

By the way does anyone know an effective way of killing off/removign the little white worms that live in some of them?

Boil 'em or Brew 'em up. It don't get rid of the worm but it kills the little bastard.

Best way is to brew 'em anyway. Why eat the horrible things when you can strain them and drink it?
