I've been talked into doing a doughnut-eating competition at work for Comic Relief tomorrow.

    :(

Stopped a speeding train with my bare hands so that an old lady with a walker and a troupe of nursery babes could cross the tracks to volunteer at the homeless shelter.

    Not necessary in that order.

My cousins husband asked her father if he could marry her (after they already had a tiny baby) and her dad said, "Well you never asked me if you could stick your cock in her or knock her up... Why start now?"

 Poor guy, what was his reply to that? I suppose he had a good point there though.

Surviving having the cord wrapped wround my neck when I was born. That was a close one, I can tell you. Or at least my Mam can (and constantly does :banghead: )

There's other pretty personal stuff, but I don't see the point in bragging about it to all and sundry

He said "Well, you have to start somewhere; and it isn't like your disproval is going to run me off. I love your daughter and I am doing this for her, but you don't scare me, you know."

I think that qualifies for his own bravery badge.

    Aye, he just said,

"why you asking me? what would you do if I said no"

to which I replied "tell Lolzabeth you said that" :p

No he thought he was The Gorbals' answer to 50 Cent, though. He was as ghetto as fucking Noel Edmonds.

Personal experiences are definetly the bravest things I've done.

Other than that, it's getting over my fear of needles rather quickly. To a point that I now feel brave enough to wander around college asking "Do you want needles stuck in your hair follicles while we electricute you love?!" and then actually enjoy doing it!

Quitting IB and restarting. I'm told it was brave, so it counts :p.

Also some of the stuff I did in Peru. Like climbing dodgy Peruvian scaffolding...

I would probably be regarded as brave for some of the things I did for my Mum tbh when my stepdad went through his 5/6 year violent stage. I put myself at risk everytime I tried to help her. He was pretty pyscho and capable of anything imo. I suppose I was sorta brave everytime I called the police/ambulance service too as I had to always follow their instructions and what not. Oh, and I always had to look after my brothers whilst all this shit was going on.

I don't even know if the above is even being brave though :| Thank fuck thats all in the past though.

I would never condone this and I would never do it in a million years now but I have took canabis into prisons before.
God knows how I got the guts, it's a fucking ridiculous thing to do.

How did you get away with that?

When I visited someone in Prison, they did a full search. I was under 16 too (I don't know if thats supposed to make a difference). They looked in my mouth, my shoes, everything. It was madness and when I was in there, I was being watched constantly by the guards.

I plugged it. Then got it out when I went to the toilet.
I was a bit wild in my late teens.

Well I felt pretty brave when I stuck up for myself against some gobby kid while walking down an alley way once but he subsequently pulled a knife out of his coat so obviously I legged it and that wasn't very brave! I also stopped a charity box from getting nicked at an old job I had and challenged the guy trying to take it, dunno if that was brave or just plain stupid though!
