I can't think of the right word but you know when a band is overlooked and just isn't given the recognition you think they should have..what is it called? Anyway my question is what bands/singers do you think are overlooked? I'm going to say Weezer. I'm listening to Across the Sea and it's rekindling my love

I don't know much about the popularity about Hoobastank over the sea, but I kind of like the music and think they are quite 'overlooked' (since we could not figure out the word you were looking for). (and don't come me with "the reason" it sucks).

Puddle of Mudd maybe... Their playing is wrong and they are pretty bad live, but it's just cool music to listen to loud if you want to run riot.

I could mention about 32 trillion rap bands, but nobody would care about that.

Weezer are hardly overlooked in my opinion. they've easily sold over 10 million albums in the US alone.

Pinkerton = genius album. Easily their best.

    I'll add:

The Presidents of the United States of America
    Mr. Bungle
    Blue Cheer
    The Young Heart Attack
    Pure Rubbish
    Burning Brides
    The Magnetic Fields
The Misfits (whose influence far exceeds their own recognition)

How did I forget FNM? I think Mike Patton is generally not given the recognition as a musical genius that he really really does deserve.

Inspiral carpets should of been bigger than they were, the sad fact is they sold more t-shirts than they did records!

I agree with inme... theyve always been kind of there but not quite, and some of their stuff got boring quite fast but they definately have the talent...They have some new demos on their myspace of stuff thats gona be on the next album, its all really good so i reckon their next album will be when they get the proper exposure they deserve

on that note, The Knife. although they topped loads of best of lists last year, hardly anyone has heard of them. They did the original of "Heartbeats".
