For more information, there are helplines at the bottom of that page.
whizzy xx
The problem was u have this injection every three months and each time they give u an extra bit(just in case u miss by a while)the thing is I think that maybe I had too much in my system.
But then again maybe it wasn't 4 me?
I've tried the pill in the past and they were either inconvenient or they sent me dippy. The only want to know is to try it.
FYI: In a couple of years, the injection will be available monthly and you will administer it yourself.
1. its great and easy - i was crap at remembering to take the pill
2. It has made me put on a bit of weight but I know its happening and I'm sorting this (it apparently happens a lot)
3. It can also make you depressed - and yes it made me depressed but again I've got that sorted now so you could too
4. I used to have really bad period pains! Havent had a period since the day I had my first injection - great!!!
Don't be so worried about the gaining weight bit... you might do that whatever type of pill/injection you choose the thing is to be aware it could happen and monitor your weight ............. the depression thing... depression runs in my family too and now ive been on the injection for over a year I know the signs when im feeling down... and my family does to warn me then I can get out of the down nes............ dont worry you just need support and you'll be fine
