i posted similar post in 'anything goes', but i thought i would ask u peeps who don't go in there much as well. I have to find a book for my higher english course. I want something that i can relate to, or something which contains issues which i feel strongly about. If you read my other posts, u may get an idea of the kind of book i'm looking for. In short, i s'pose, something quite sad, with stuff like depression, cutting deliberately, eating disorders...that kind of stuff. Don't even know if there is such a book, probably isn't, but if anyone has ANY IDEAS it would be really really useful.
Thanks
P.S I need ideas before this coming monday....sorry!!!!!!

Oh dear, I'm thinking I'm a little late.
If I'm not, then 'The Bell Jar' by Sylvia Plath is an excellent book. You should read it anyway. It's semi-autobiographical and to do with Depression, mainly.
I know that I can find an awful lot to empathise with in Sylvia Plath and her writing.
