I'm pretty sure it's thrush. It's quite likely to be seeing as a)i've just gone on the pill and b)i'm on antibiotics for tonsilitus.

I had thrush before and I didn't go to the doctor but I think i should this time (well, he needs to know stuff like that doesnt he? and the pill and stuff.....) aanyway I'm going to go but what will actually be done to me??!

    Me hopes you know your anti biotics will more than likely stop your pill working (they should have explained that to you)
    as for thrush you prolly got it from the anti biotics that killed all your good bacteria off the doc will probably give you canisten (which is cheaper at the chemist rather than on prescription) which can be a cream or a tablet that you put in your vagina. That ought to clear up yer thrush but the doc might take you off the anti biotics if it is them that gave ya the thrush

    Ohhh crap. I hate thrush. I had this cream which made it itch like fuck for about 30 min after I put it on.

    recommend a bath with Tea Tree oil
    . It's a natural antiseptic and it workd for me.

    I had it once too, I don't think you are normal unless you have had it atleast once, Luckily for me, I only got it a tiny bit, My sister - the poor thing, she gets it sooooo bad, that her skin swells and splits, she cant sit down. Ouch !! :-(

    Canisten is prety good, and your partner can also use the cream too. thats what we had to use. and i got it from the chemist - Tesco actaully.

    Lemon Barley water is good to drink, apparently it takes the acid from your wee, so like when you might get Cystitis, it won't hurt when you wee.

    And don't wear tights!

    I know this may be silly but could you possibly tell me the symptoms. As I'm embarassed to ask anyone else and I keep thinking I've got it.

    freya I just realised a couple of days ago that I've got it too, and I know exactly why... it's all to do with candida albicans, which I have loads of in my stomach so I'm on antibiotics. Thrush is a different form of candida, so theyre connected. I'm being overrun by the bloody stuff! <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;
