a question about the pill

ok, i'm on the pill and normally remember to take it everyday, sometime a few hours late but never more that 3.

my question is, say i did forget to take my pill one day and realised the following day when i was about to take my next one. would it be ok to start my 7 day break early? would i still be protected if i did?

It's not a good idea to miss pills from the end of the packet.

i was always told that if you missed a pill and there were less than 7 pills left in the packet, you should take another packet of pills and miss your 7 day break this time.

i missed a pill the other day... no unprotected sex for me until wednesday rofl... like THATs likely...
