uv marks on clothes

went to a club last week and there was a uv light above the dancefloor.

had a red tshirt on and it had dusty showing up and glowing. looked a bit scrubby. it was only a bit in patches, and i would expect it from a dirty top, but this was clean on. its happened a couple of times now.

is it washing powder or am i not washing it properly? or just dust from a carpet?

not as bad as my mate though. went bowling on a lads night out a few years ago, and a uv light showed a big spunk stain on the shoulder of his hoodie. lol. :)

Washing powder, doesn't rinse out like you'd think.

All viable suggestions from other people, but i think it's from the washing powder that you've used, i know they put all sorts of stuff in them to make whites, whiter and brighter and stuff.

I know years ago a few tops i had seem to do it each week i went out, and would be even worse had i just washed them that day, then it suddenly stopped happening so i'd assume it was because we changed washing powder or something.
