Did Stacey put you up to this? We had a fleeting discussion about it in zee LJ earlier on!

But yes - depending on the day (it would have to be a weekend) I would be up for something. And so would the boy

EDIT: I did just ask him, before seeing this thread, if he would be interested in toddling off to something and he said he would. Great minds and all that.

    Maybe the wine :|

Me, but after the Easter holidays because I am being a Southern Fairy and going home to my beloved Co-op to do some work.

Oh, and it would be good in either York, or WY where I can use my Metrocard to get to it :thumb:

Haha. I suggested it to him

And Lea - does this mean you won't go anywhere but Newcastle? :p

I'd be up for it depending when it was. I'm at home Easter weekend until the weekend afterwards so couldn't do it anytime in those two weekends.

I'd definately be up for a few beers though :D

I'm away from next friday for 5 weeks, and then I have exams in the first week back after that.

How northern are we talking here?

Maybe... I dunno... I might be too scared, I'd have to be persuaded into it... and I doubt anyone would bother... So I guess that'd end up as a no.

I love how my logic works when I've had a drink. :chin:

I'm going home on Good Friday (6th April) and returning to Prestonia on Sunday 15th so yeah, I can't do the 7th/8th weekend or the 14th/15th weekend. Anything before or after that is fine though.

And I can't get to Sheffield on my metrocard so you are breaking my rules already :p

No it means I can't afford to go anywhere other than Newcastle :p
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,324 The Mix Honorary Guru
Haha. I'd prefer somewhere with a direct train link.....

I've not been to Sheffield in agggees though. I've only been there twice and that was for an open day and for a Evanescence concert! Haha.

I'd love to go York again though. Its so pretty there

    York is faaaaaaaaaaaar away, though.

    /whinges

    :p

EDIT: Leeds is probably best. I can get direct train from my little village.

    I agree.

Although, if we are meeting in York I'm not playing host or owt, or saying where is good to go because I don't go anywhere in York so I don't know any good places. Ha.

I will. I know plenty of places in York :D

York is almost 3 hours away from here, Leeds is 2 so Leeds might be better. Also, that way, I can persaude James to let me stay over so I don't have to get on the train home drunk. Haha.
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,324 The Mix Honorary Guru
Yeah, stay with James. A Leeds meet would be good  it's quite central and all trains go there really.
  • Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,324 The Mix Honorary Guru
Sheffield's only 10 mins away from me on't train, so could probably get there. Otherwise, I know Leeds a little so I wouldn't be terrified of going their either.

I've been to York once, but it was years ago and wouldn't know where the heck I was going.
