Firefox follow-up

In the above thread i had a problem scrolling and moving on pages with firefox...after suffering (for what seemed like forever) with IE and Opera (they were both really slow), I decided to check out the firefox live chat for help.

In less than 10minutes, i told them my problem and someone inturupted out of nowhere and asked if i tried pressing the F7 key, i did and low and behold all was fixed. Turns out i was using a function called caret browsing.

    So that was all huh? I did think it must be some kind of setting, but couldn't think of one... Never heard of this.
    I tried F7 here btw, it did nothing.
