wondering if anyone had any ideas on this

when i go to burn a film or episode or whatever onto a dvd it burns fine but the picture when watched on a tele is really narrow as in it uses about a third of the screen at most, thing is though when watched on my laptop its fine and uses up most of the screen,

im using Intervideo windvd creator and cant find any options on how to mess about with the outputted screen size.

was wondering if anyone had any knowledge of this program and does anyone know of any decent free dvd burning programs

many thanks

What's the original file you're burning like? is it widescreen format?

i use dvdsanta which is great, i only use it for converting avi, mpg etc..to dvd.

make sure you select KEEP ASPECT RATIO, or else it could screw it up.
