I think some of those 'best dresses' are a bit horrible. And some people just shouldn't wear yellow -it washes them out.

Pish, I loved Jennifer Connelly's dress and I think that is one of Nicole Kidman's worst looks... though that is more to do with the monotone skin and hair than the dress (which I think is unremarkable).

I'd generally agree that yellow's not a great colour, but then I remembered how much I loved this dress last year:

    I can't see it :(

Is it the navy and black one she wore? I love Salma

Thats really nice too. To be fair though you could probably put a bin bag on that woman and it'd look good!

Do you think the designers have a "vot vas I sinking" rack for celebrities they don't like?

Cher rocks my world. Anything but the boring black numbers. Remember in 2002 when pretty much everyone wore black as a supposed "mark of respect" re: September 11th? Deluded isn't the word

Susan Sarandon always, always looks great at the Oscars, if not particularly remarkable. Helps that I love her though.

I think a lot of celebrities wear things because they're vintage Chanel or whatever without actually looking in the mirror and realising that they look like shit warmed over. Good for a laugh, though!

Why don't they just turn the oscars into a fashion show - it pretty much is. Tbh, i've never understood this best and worst dressed at awards - who gives a shit?

    Sorry rant over

I think some of those on the best dressed are on the wrong list tbh! kate winslet's though (and that's not just because she has a cool name)

I was just going to say how much I loved that red dress. She always wears stunning things. I also have a particular affinity with her because of her name :p:lol:

what's the white shape on the floor in front of her on this pic?! At first I thought it may be part of the dress that fell off! but on second look it may actually just be a light or something!

she also has a slight 'granny-tights' problem going on

    The swan layed an egg!

The crazier you dress the more publicity. Nobody remembers the normal nice ones, but everybody remembers the swan or Jennifer Lopez's green dress and theres no such thing as bad publicity :thumb:

(Except for maybe the saggy titties that Lacy posted :p)
