    For girls:
Imogen (I'm sure there are others... but I can't think right now)

    For boys:
    James and Zachary.

Well that's what I'm going to call my children (if I'm lucky enough to have any) - even if the father doesn't agree

The thing with some of favourite names is that they have been ruined by some of the kids that I teach. For example, Samuel is a name that I really like, but one of the kids at school is Samuel and he is a little shite.

At the moment, if we have kids, I think we would have a Niamh Rose and an Alexander. But, who knows. I may go off them if I have to teach horrible children with those names!

Girls: Ciara, Caitlin, Aoife, Aoibheann, Saoirse, Fionnuala, Deirdre, Roisin, Caoimhe.

Boys: Fiachra, Conchur, Micheal, Dara, Sean, Daithi, Prionsais.

Anything Irish, it's a tradition in our family to name their kids with Irish names and I hope to continue that when I have them.

    Deirdre

I'm sorry, but I could never call my child Deirdre. It just reminds me too much of her from Corrie and her big glasses :p

Hehe, I don't watch the soaps either, but she is just one character that stands out. And because I don't know anyone else with that name :p

    No.

If I was being specific I would spell it Michéal. There's the wee symbol thing over the "e". Pronounced "Me-hall."

    how do you pronounce those?

two men in notting hill were talking about me when i was stood waiting for my mum thought i was irish because i had 'irish hair'! Was quite amusing listening to 2 strangers trying to figure out where you're from and attempt to speak german to you.

I get to come across alot of names at work and I found a couple I like recently... Cara and Clara. And Gay. Saw that one twice. My friend has two really cool names for her kids... Raven Brook and Corbin Jude. I really like those.

Alice is my youngest sister's name, and I thought I could use that as a middle name as well as Ruby, which is my other sister's middle name. Then they won't think I'm playing favourites or anything!

Girls- Seren, Imogen, Ruby and Isobel

    Boys- Luke, Rhys, Alex

I am in an unfortunate position in that some names i dislike are influenced by patients i have nursed (or more often that not because of their parents!!)
