Give your parents some polite inspiration to piss off

e.g. Hi mum, you going out Valentines? I think you should blah blah blah.

That or send a letter saying she's won a great prize two hundred miles away or something.

You could go to your local college and take remedial English lessons.

Well you won't get a restaurant booking this late. To be fair to your parents, and his, it is a school night. Do something at the weekend.

You should get those English lessons, I can't understand a word of what you say.

You've been aksed about it before- text speak is not tolerated on these boards. If you can't abide by our good manners guide you should leave.

By "school night" I mean everyone has to get up for work the next day. You do work, don't you?

If your relationship is strong enough to plan marridge then surely valentines day is of small significance.

    Get over it

I can imagine the wedding night...

    "Carry me over the threshold"
    "But your mum's still in..."
"Oh, well let's go to yours..."
"No, Dad's still up at mine..."
"Oh...um...see you after school tomorrow then!"

Is that really how you refer to him as to everyone?

When married, husband yes, but do people really say fiance?

I think i would still say boyfriend when i was engaged and if it cropped up into conversation then state that we are engaged but is it that widely used?

As for your night, why can't you politely ask "the parents" to stay in one room, or just do something another night and count it as "Valentines Day".

Well you're gonna have to think harder then aren't you.

Stop crying and get on with it.

Its one day out of 365. Honestly. It really really really isn't a big deal - February 14th isnt the only day you can do something together out of the whole year!!!
