Expressing milk when you've never been pregnant?

Can anyone help??????? I know I should know about this, as I'm a Nurse, but I don't and I'm too embarrased to ask my doctor!
About 10 years ago, I noticed that if I squeeze my breasts, milk coloured stuff comes out of my nipples. I tried to mention it to a practice nurse when she asked if I check my breasts for lumps and abnormalities, I remember her not thinking it was normal, but she didn't give me any information about it. I am now 27 and it has been on my mind since I first discovered it. I keep intending to mention it to my gp, but when I get there I chicken out. I know it isn't down to the pill or the anti depressants that I'm on, as it has happened before I took either.
Does anyone else have this? and does anyone know if I should be worried about it?
Would really appreciate any help, anyone can offer.
Cheers,
Daisy.

don't worry, happens to me too. I think its the bodys natural oils. don't feel embarrased to check with your gp, you should have your breasts checked regularly anyway, so you could ask when you go for a checkup.

This is weird cos I read a magazine today with something about this in it...

Apparently its natural for all nipples to express milk at sometime in your life, even in men! So you're ok. But maybe you should go to your GP, cos we're not doctors so we cant give 100% advice <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">
