  I dont no why u r getting them or why they r so vivid but dreams really represent how u feel if u ask me. I can relate though, I used to and still do sometimes suffer really disturbing nightmares of my childhood. They used to really get me down so much that I tried my hardest to stop myself sleping in the end, but it only made me ill.
  Im not really sure what u can do about this, but I found talking about them helped a lot to. They say that some dreams u r able to control in a way and talking bout them might make them easier when u get them.
  Sorry if Im talking a load of bollox or not making sense but I no what I mean!

  So, your life is going well, you are through this bout of depression. <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;
  
  Your subconcious has probably decided that it's about time to address any coflicts you may have with your religious upbringing.
  
  Or maybe your subconcious is warning you be aware about the possibility of further depression and to be on your guard.
  
  Do you escape from the demons & evil spirits in your dream? If you do, it could be your subconcious just saying to you "there, you've managed to get through the demons of depression".
  
  Have you recently come off Prozac? I don't know, but if you have, maybe its a reaction to that.
  
  The best thing to do when you have recurring dreams or similar dreams, is to write down as much as you can about them as soon as you wake up. Then, over the course of a few episodes, compare the dreams & look for the similarities.

  And I thought I was the only one having strange demon dreams. I dream of flesh eating zombies who are people I know in real life. I usually end up running away from them or killing them with a sword. I once set my brother on fire with a torch in one dream. But then, that's all they are...dreams. Yeah, it may be true that bad dreams can be reflective of stressful times in your life, but the brain is a very mysterious thing, and I bet you've had many dreams that dont make the slightest bit of sense. (I was once a lifeguard and swam in the ocean to rescue a yellow coin holder which I gave CPR to). I've read that when sleeping, your brain is in a random generation mode, mixing your life experiences together in all sorts of wierd ways so they they often seem very unusual. But dont spend too much time worrying about them. They can't harm you...not physically at least. The psychological part depends on how serious you take it. I dont take it seriously, I just think my brains having a bit of fun while I'm unconscious

  not that its particalurly relevant, but i totally fucked up and failed my music practical last week, and i got my results back the other day and i was like 2 marks from a pass. so im well pissed off bout that and i keep having nightmares that i set my hands on fire an dburn them til they r gone so that i dont hav to play guitar again. all im basically sayin is that ure dreams are probly coz u resent ure religious upbringing, and its ure way of ure subconcious mind rebelling against it, and the fact that they are evil is opposing the purity of religion, i guess. no i dont think ure goin mad tho, i just think that they are really vivid coz they mean a lot to u, as did ure grandparents, probably. not like it means a lot because ure bothered about religion, but because its such a big part of ure subconcious mind and it needs to be let out somewhere. well i hope that that made sense to u, it made none to me but if it helped in anyway then im glad <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif"&gt;
