could be a kidney infection, could be something more sinister. go tell your gp, it's important

you can diagnose kidney infections with urine samples, yes? i don't mind having a urine sample... but if any doctor wants a blood test they can f**k *ff

yes. at least im pretty sure. i had one once, but no bleeding, just pain. if its a kidney infection you should be feeling pain where your kidneys are, round the back but fairly low down. only to be strange, i felt more pain at the front oh and i didnt have a penis at the time (and i still dont before anyone suggests it.)

but i would def recommend putting this top of the list when you see your doc (asap), if you have to have a blood test, so be it.

good luck.

Jaheeeeesus, sorry, but that's a nightmare scenario for me.

It probably is a kidney infection, though it could be a number of other things as well, does it feel like your pissing broken glass??

i've seen a doctor, and he said that it's probably a bladder infection. he took a urine sample and has given me antibiotics..

he said it should clear up in a few days, and i hope it does, cos these antibiotics seem to be making me very ill

glad to here you went to your gp. what antibiotics are they? you might have to take them with food, or maybe on an empty stomach. does it say anywhere that a side effect may be nausea? if you keep feeling sick on them check with the gp but make sure that you finish the course or else the bug might come back with a vengeance & a resistance to antibiotics.

thanks... i'm on cephalexin (500mg capsules). It doesn't say anything about taking them with or without food, but I took it with food anyway, as I usually find that capsules disagree with an empty stomach.

I'm feeling a lot better now, but i thought i was gonna die earlier! and i've got to take another one soon! ah well, if it's still bad i'll call the doctor again!

thanks for the reply!

ok, i checked it out in my book & it says that common side effects are - mild diarrhea or stomach cramps, sore mouth or tongue, nausea and vomiting.

if you have any breathing difficulties, confusion, itching, swelling of the face or throat, unusual sweating, severe stomach pain and cramps, fever, severe diarrhea or bloody diarrhea you should contact your gp asap (but none of these are common)

it also said that it doesn't matter whether you eat or not, but taking it with food will reduce stomach irritation

I would just see a doctor as soon as you
can. the doctor would probably take a pee test and a swob from under the forskin to check for any infection xxx

get better soon
