Apperantly I'm distant, disconnected, cold and often bitchy. So not all that clingy :thumb:

Ditto! (Though I used to be very clingy with 2 of my exes.)
It's like last week, I didn't want to see my guy at all and I didn't for a week. Then by Saturday day time I missed him loads so we met up and stayed together 'til Monday morning and now I'm missing him as he didn't ask to see me last night!

My boyfriend and I live together, so see each other everyday, but we give and get plenty of alone time.

I'm not clingy or needy, but if I'm in a relationship then it's because I want to be in one and I want to see a lot of her.

I'm not really one of these lads who especially want a girlfriend for the sake of having one, so when I'm in a relationship it's because I really want to be and I do tend to see a lot more of her and a lot less of other people.

Whether that means I'm clingy or not isn't for me to say. Never had that complaint anyway.

on the weekends we spend saturday night together as he plays rugby in the day and i`m in work

then sundays we spend the day together and go out with friends at the night

Same as. We don't see each other during the day, obviously, as we're both at work, so that's a good few hours per day apart. We do most of our socialising together, but when Dunc goes off to play pool or cricket with his mates I stay behind, as I can't play either to save my life.

Although we're pretty in each others' pockets now, we spent 3 years doing the long distance thing and if we'd been too clingy or distrustful there'd have been no way for it to work.

It's a matter of finding what works best for the couple in question. If you're together 24/7 and want to be together 24/7, it's not clingy, and if even after 10 years you still only want to meet up a couple of times a week and go back your separate ways at night (as a couple we know seem to) then that's cool too.

i like my space and i don't like being showered with attention and being put up on a pedastal - but it's probably because that's what i'm used to, i might change

I think I'm a pretty good girlfriend :) I like to see my boyfriend, but at the same time I enjoy my own space and I don't think either of us are clingy in the slightest. I do miss him if we go 6/7 days without seeing eachother but I reckon that's normal :) I'm happy seeing him 2 or so days a week, although any time I spend with him is amazing so it doesn't matter :)

If I like them enough to want to be with them, I like them enough to want to spend a lot of time with them.

I'm not some crazed clingy mentalist, and I do my own thing as and when, but I think I could quite happily spend all day, every day with my blokie. Not like 'we must cuddle and you have to tell me I'm pretty' though, I just like to have him there. Then again, we haven't been together long, so still very much honeymooney :D

5 weeks today! Ha ha. I've known him for a couple of years though, so we're quite advanced for such a newbie couple :)

Glad to see i'm not the only person that finds clingy people repulsive, sorry annoying. There must be something about me that draws them in. Bit of a shame really.

its probably because you're the total opposite so they become even needier

Thats the most blatantly obvious reason, and yet i never thought of it! But then to combat their neediness, i'd have to be more needy and i don't think i've got it in me.

Aye, I only posted a couple of times about it. Beginning of December.

No, I don't mess about, before anyone says that.

My ex told people I was clingy after we broke-up, which still pisses me off tbh.
It wasn't like I was trying to see him everyday.. just once in a while when we were both actually sober, without his maytes.

Hmm. I like spending time alone because I'm insecure, so it's easier. But then, I also crave affection. I like random acts of luuurve :].

Guess I'll have to see when the next guy comes along. If he ever does. :yeees:

Not clingy at all, either of us. Both have the space to do our own thing, like Sat night i'm off out clubbing with a mate, Leigh's going out to dinner and a movie with a mate.

I'm not sure..we never were that clingy when we were able to see each other nearly every day, and it was good to go out and do our own things sometimes. Now we're further apart (me in birmingham, him in london) it is a tad harder to not be a bit clingy..as i dont get the same amount of close company now he isnt around..annoyingly we're not very good over the phone (not very good at thinking of loadsa stuff to say in a short space of time) and texting is pretty limited too!
