I'm writing an college essay on alternative therapies and complementary medicines and whether they work, whether they are underestimated by conventional doctors and whether they can be dangerous to your health.

Do you use alternative therapies?

I need a few contrasting views, so any input would b greatly appreciated <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">

Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road. Time grabs you by the wrist, directs you where to go.

well i found that kava kava you recommended to me was pretty good, last time i almost came to see mark i felt soooooo ill the day before and on the day too. wheras this time i was fine the day before, and only felt a bit nervous on the train as it was getting closer (well okay, a LOT nervous!! but i didnt feel sick this time).

ive used some homeopathic remedies before for my hayfever, they worked well for a while but seemed to lose their effectiveness. it was called pulsatilla btw. and i always eat mints if im feeling a bit sick, like travel sick or something becuase i get travel sick (i take some presecription tablets for that now too when i need to travel), and they help. oh and i use tea tree face freshener and tea tree oil for when i get spots or something : and witchhazel for preventing bruises or making them go down quicker.

    if i think of any more i'll let you know <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/smile.gif">

It only takes one tree to make a thousand matches, only takes one match to burn a thousand trees

I use aromatherapy, which is good. Dr.Bachs, which I'm not to sure about. Hypnosis, which I know works & a little bit of homeopathy, which I've used successfully for bruising (Arneca) and Verrucas (Thuja).
