I used to have a couple of days a week with 9-6 without a single break but that's because UCL is run by a bunch of morons. I'm glad I'm not at university anymore
Monday 11-1.
Wednesday 11-1
Thursday 9-11
:thumb:
8-10 and 14:15 - 18:00 here on a monday
And it's one hour travel time from my house to uni...
Tuesdays I'm in 11-7.30.
I'm in Thursday 12-5
Fridays I'm in 11-12
You went to the wrong uni babes, JMU had a piss easy timetable. I worked more than I went to uni! Loved it!
Try doing an Engineering or heavy hours Science course! Last year I did 8-6 on Thursday with half an hour for lunch (and a negative 15 mins in the afternoon because of a clash). Sadly it wasn't like that was all I did in a week either, I had 9-1 every morning and then stuff spread through other afternoons and early evenings.
Then wait 'til StrubbleS comes along.
I've got
Monday - 10.15 - 4.15 with one hour gap
Tuesday - 9.15 - 12.15
Thursday - 9.15 - 4.15 with 1hr off
and Friday 1.15 - 3.15.
FOUR WHOLE DAYS111
Thats only 18 hours per week AND you get a day off.
I have to do 20 per week and I don't get a day off. This is including 4 hours of seminars (1 hour business and 3 hours straight programming) as well. I thought that was a pretty good deal but some people on here seem to be disappointed with half that. Think yourselves lucky..
Tuesdays: 8-10:15 - 14-14:45
Wednesdays: 9:45-10:25
Thursdays: 10:20-12:30 - 14:45-15:25
Fridays: 8-9:25 - 14:45-15:25
Whooo. I might cut down my courses soon though and start studying something entirely different elsewhere in February.
Tuesday: Nothing.
Wednesday: Nothing.
Thursday: 9-10, 11-12, 1-3.
Friday: Nothing.
Oh yes
You're so lucky!
Lats year I only had 7 hours but i had monday 9-11 and friday 4-6 which was so annoying as it meant if i wanted to go home or to visit friends at weekends I arrived too late to go out friday nights and had to contemplate sunday train timetables which had half the amount of trains and all the journeys took twice as long :grump:
You are only in 4 hours a week? What do you do?!
Not much, clearly
Its not usually that empty, but because of my dissertation (double credit) I'm only taking two modules this semester (one double credit and one single credit). If I did it all in taught single modules I'd have 10 hours, which still isn't much though.
My basic timetable has remained the same this semester, however the tutor overseeing my group project is now insisting on having our weekly meetings at 9am on a Thursday.
It's fucking shite because there's a weekly clubbing night I love on Wednesdays, and normally on a Thursday I'd only have class 4-6, so after his one hour meeting I have SIX hours to kill before my next class. Time when I'd normally be in bed. Anyone got any suggestions how I can spend my new found Thursdays? Sleep isn't an option because I don't sleep once I'm up for the day.
Quite whining the lot of you, I used to do 9 hrs 45 mins on a Thursday, as well as at least 4 hours on Monday-Wednesday and Friday.
Nooo, I meant as in what do you study?
Silly me, I completely misread that
I study History.
