    *hugs*

I used to have a couple of days a week with 9-6 without a single break but that's because UCL is run by a bunch of morons. I'm glad I'm not at university anymore

in my first year i had a good time table..can't remember exactly but i know i had 2 days off and the same as with the second year. though in the second year i had two 9am starts. this year i'm in every day - mondays, tuesdays and fridays only for an hour and the other two days i'm in for 2-3 hours. wednesdays and thursdays i'm in at 9. but i am finished most days by 1, and 2 is the latest i finish. having said that i only go to the library after so i'm still really at uni!

How many days are you in though? For my final year, we were only in for 10 hours all week...so if you are the same, Id be happy I was getting most of it out the way :p

I know. We have five ASSESSED seminars a fortnight too. I almost cried when you said you didnt have them. We are assessed on everything we say in them. Its worth 25% of our course. :( Each one takes 8 hours to prepare for (well, thats what they recommend)

    Oh stop whining :P.

Try doing an Engineering or heavy hours Science course! Last year I did 8-6 on Thursday with half an hour for lunch (and a negative 15 mins in the afternoon because of a clash). Sadly it wasn't like that was all I did in a week either, I had 9-1 every morning and then stuff spread through other afternoons and early evenings.

Then wait 'til StrubbleS comes along.

Thats only 18 hours per week AND you get a day off.

I have to do 20 per week and I don't get a day off. This is including 4 hours of seminars (1 hour business and 3 hours straight programming) as well. I thought that was a pretty good deal but some people on here seem to be disappointed with half that. Think yourselves lucky..

    You're so lucky!

Lats year I only had 7 hours but i had monday 9-11 and friday 4-6 which was so annoying as it meant if i wanted to go home or to visit friends at weekends I arrived too late to go out friday nights and had to contemplate sunday train timetables which had half the amount of trains and all the journeys took twice as long :grump:

Be greatful that with an 8 hour timetable you aren't in every day like I am. It's horrid and they're mostly 9am's.

    Not much, clearly :p

Its not usually that empty, but because of my dissertation (double credit) I'm only taking two modules this semester (one double credit and one single credit). If I did it all in taught single modules I'd have 10 hours, which still isn't much though.

Last semester I didn't have a class before 2pm any day. It was sweet.

My basic timetable has remained the same this semester, however the tutor overseeing my group project is now insisting on having our weekly meetings at 9am on a Thursday.

It's fucking shite because there's a weekly clubbing night I love on Wednesdays, and normally on a Thursday I'd only have class 4-6, so after his one hour meeting I have SIX hours to kill before my next class. Time when I'd normally be in bed. Anyone got any suggestions how I can spend my new found Thursdays? Sleep isn't an option because I don't sleep once I'm up for the day.

Do some work towards your course?

Quite whining the lot of you, I used to do 9 hrs 45 mins on a Thursday, as well as at least 4 hours on Monday-Wednesday and Friday. :p
