Hehehe now that I have your attention...

How many people on here actually check them once a month? I don't, I'm trying to get into the habit of doing it, perhaps we could get some kinda mini - campaign - awareness thing started so that people check them? And that goes for lads with their bits and bobs too.

Well, if you ever need any "expert" advice, on how-to, then you know where I am
But don't you have someone to check for you?

Apparently (don't quote me on this), by the time you can feel a lumpy bollock, there are already other symptoms which would have been picked up. (Not that I would discourage men from checking for lumps).

Can't say that I do, but there's no time like the present...

I agree, im not exactly sure what i would be looking out for. But if i was certain of what i was looking for i think i would start.

mine feel quite lumpy inside, not as bad as they were, but i assume thats something to do with stopping breastfeeding, and the lumps will go down. I dont think id know if i had a lump that was different to normal though. surely with breast cancer there would be other symptoms too???

Yeah with breast cancer et al it's not just about finding lumps, I suppose everyone has to learn to be really familiar with their own bodies and decide what is normal and what doesn't look so good.

Does breastfeeding really make them go a bit lumpy? I'm really unfamiliar with this sort of stuff, only heard nightmares about sore nipples!

I was in the bra shop once actually and the woman said if you don't wear the right size bra, the underwire can kinda 'cut' into the breast and cause lumps there like cysts

well i never had sore nipples and i breastfed for 6 months! The lumps i think are milk ducts which can produce very small amounts of milk for years after having a baby even after stopping breastfeeding. Its been 10 months since i stopped so theyre getting back to normal now. They dont look lumpy, they just feel it.

i dont check my swingers because i don't have any, but i do check my balls every time i have a shower (wich is more often than people believe).

my nan had throat cancer and it nearly killed her. it sprang up in the space of a week and was very serious.

4 me, i cannot stress the importance of checking. u should every day to be on the safe side.
