    One time I actually thought the guy was offering me a drink. When we got inside and he said "So do you actually want a drink?" I was just thinking "Well of course, that's what I came in for isn't it?" Man, that was embarrassing.

    edited to add: It was 4am at the time, I had no way of getting home until the buses started running again and he knew that, so I thought he was just being nice and letting me wait in his flat rather than hanging around on the street. That makes me sound slightly less ridiculously stupid, I hope!

    I dont drink coffee - so when i get my own place im definately going to have to keep some coffee there! One day im sure ill use that line, then he'll come in and i wont actually have any - that wud be embarrassing....:lol:
