Settle an office argument

Anyone remember an old 80's quiz show similar to the crystal maze where contestants won credits and in the end played a chess type game against a plant. An aspidistras if memory serves.

I say it is a show. The guys in the office reckon I've taken too much acid!

    Yep, it was the adventure game. Although the part at the end was crossing over the vortex, the plant was normally much earlier in the game in the part where they collected currency.

    Very good show, I loved it. It dissappeared off screen when the space shuttle blew up, then came back for a series but had been re-vamped and so was, obviously, rubbish.
