If I were you, I'd go and see your doctor, don't be embarrassed about it - they've seen it all before!
I had the same problem as you, it all started when I fell on my ass (oops), and I couldn't sit down for weeks, I thought I had broken my cocyx, but I had just bruised it fortunately enough. Luckily it waz sorted with painkillers and cream which my doctor prescribed me with.
K, enough about me - you say you've had this problem for months, and honey I know it can be painful, go see your doctor!!! <IMG SRC="wink.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

You're only going to find out by going to a doctor. You have nothing to be embarrassed about. Just go.

even if your coccyx was broken you probably would no, as i managed to crack mine and just though it was a bruise, like everybody else said go get it sorted with the doctors, as it can be healed alot quicker that way and whats better months of pain or 5 mins of slight embarassment!!

    Kodie,

It really is the best thing to do to go see a doctor. Not only will you know what the deal is but you will not have to keep thinking about what it 'might' be.

Its very unlikely that you will be embarrased as the doctors do this stuff all the time.

    Put your mind at rest.

Like everyone else says, you need to see a doctor as soon as possible to try and make it go down. My friend had this a few years ago and it was extreamly painful for her, and that was with painkillers and after seeing a doctor. If you dont want to see a doctor then thats your choice but you'll be in great pain and it may take longer for the bruising to go down.

Is there a chance you could have and STI/STD? It could be an injury what ever it is you need to see a doctor soon. i could be dangerous if so it would be best to get it checked out it could effect growth in further years.

It maybe nothing but the worry wont help. goodluck :)
