"Burnley have confirmed that a bid has been received from Celtic for young striker Kyle Lafferty and that they have dismissed it and would not encourage another bid."

And Leeds are ahead of Man City and Fulham according to that too. And Newcastle are apparently the 13th best club in Europe. They wish.

And Sampdoria and Galatasaray aren't as good as Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk.

    Oh.

bloody hell Hull have got Dean Windass on loan till the end of the season.

With Windass and Jon Parkin upfront, that'll scare any defence in the league, weigh a combined weight of about 3.5tonnes between em, thats one beefy strikeforce.

Windass isn't quick enough or good enough for Division Two anymore. He'lll struggle.

He always wanted to finish his career at his hometown club though.

Interesting to see that the rumours of a bit of a tiff between him and Todd seem to be true, though. It's a shame that the club won't get rid of Clueless Todd too, but we can't afford to, so we're stuck with the waste of space until he has the decency to resign.

It dawned on me the other day that you had Eoin Jess too.

Sorry bud, but that officially makes Bradford my pity team now :yippe:

Nah, we got rid of Eoin Jess about four years ago...last I heard of him Forest had sacked him.

When Jim Jefferies was manager we had a vast collection of Scottish journeymen- Jess, Andy Tod, Lee Makel, Juanjo, Windass, Gary Locke, Billy McKinlay

erm we've got Jason Byrne from...er Shelborne. Scored 83 goals over the last four seasons, we will have to see if he can play in the Championship though. We need to find a striker with pace still. We've also got a youngster called James Simmonds on loan from Chelsea. I still think we need some more fresh faces.

Argyle had the same thing happen to us when Williamson took over. After he'd been sacked, they all ended up going to Scottish teams.

Apparantely, Man City are after Jermaine Easter.
