Former MemberFormer Member Posts: 1,876,323 The Mix Honorary Guru
Has anyone had this?
The last couple of days my breasts have been leaking what appears to be milk!
I have done a preganancies test which was negative.
I am to embarrassed to ask the doctor, what do you think it is?

are you on the pill? it might be worth changing brands?its likely to be a hormone imbalance. id ask the doctor if it worries you.

Have you ever had children before?? Sometimes even years after a baby is born women still leak milk from the breasts.

If you haven't then I agree with what rainbow bright said above. If its nothing to do with both of what we said, then check it out with your GP, best get it cleared up now incase it turns out to be something more serious!

    That's quite common actually <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="icon">

But if that's not the case then I think you should pop along to see your GP - unexplained discharge from the breast is not normally a good sign. I may just be milk, but it's best to get it checked.

Go along to your Dr and get this checked out. He will probly do a blood test to check your hormone levels, as it could be a hormone causing this. Good luck and theres nothing to be embarissed about!

you may have an infection.i read about it in a magazine once. so just do what everybody else always says and visit the doctor.
is there anything else which may give you a clue as to what it is e.g. are they sore?

It could be any number of things, but it is essential that you go to your GP for a checkup as soon as possible, just in case it's something nasty.
