ooh i hate tonsilitis.
Antibiotics from your doctor are obviously the best cure, failing this however soluble Co-Codomal (ask your chemist) is good because you can swill it around your throat and it does work!

Did you diagnose yourself? because if a doctor diagnosed if then surely he would have given you something for it? Also, if you haven't seen the doc you might just have a sore throat, in which case you can talk to the pharmacist (the ones in Boots are really helpful...in my other local pharmacy you have to ask someone to get them and they're all huffy when they get to you!)

Oh deary, what a crap time to get ill - best thing to do is just try your best in the exams and then have them whipped out so they don't interfere with your work if you decide to go on to AS or whatever

I found Red Aftershocks pretty good for Tonsilitus as it numbs the throat.

the only problem with that is the fact the waiting list for tonsilectomy (i think) i 2 years unless you get admitted for having regular tonsilitis. the older you are the longer you have to wait.

Just because you have your tonsils out, doesn't mean you can't get tonsilitis, they just change the name to tonsil bed infection

I had mine out when i was 7 and still regularly get tonsilitis.

I had my tonils out almost a month ago. Had to wait 5 months as it was cancelled the first time.

Apparantly my tonsils are like golf balls they wanted to remove them but they said the wait was 2 years and i was a little child (paediatric). Decided not to go ahead with treatment. The main problem lies with my ears and i have recently had them operated on.

That waiting list was 15 months exactly.
