Antibiotics from your doctor are obviously the best cure, failing this however soluble Co-Codomal (ask your chemist) is good because you can swill it around your throat and it does work!
*excuse my crabbiness but have exam this afternoon*

i just had tonsilitis. got it 3 days before my driving test.
did i fail??
oh yes i did...
the only problem with that is the fact the waiting list for tonsilectomy (i think) i 2 years unless you get admitted for having regular tonsilitis. the older you are the longer you have to wait.
Seriously!?!?! I only had to wait 3 months! How things change! Perhaps they would give Shiggi special consideration because its an important time education wise?
Just because you have your tonsils out, doesn't mean you can't get tonsilitis, they just change the name to tonsil bed infection
I had mine out when i was 7 and still regularly get tonsilitis.
Apparantly my tonsils are like golf balls they wanted to remove them but they said the wait was 2 years and i was a little child (paediatric). Decided not to go ahead with treatment. The main problem lies with my ears and i have recently had them operated on.

That waiting list was 15 months exactly.
