blood tests

for about two years now ive been constantly ill, lathargic, tired but cant sleep and i briuse really easily! my mum took me the doctors and i have a high blood pressure and had to go have some blood tests! when my mum phoned up about the results the woman said some were back and i had to book an appointment wiv the doctor! does that mean theres somat wrong? im really scared now incase its something bad!
any advice?

    It probably means that you just need a doctor to tell you, that they won't give them out over the phone - something to do with medical confidentiality.

    Either that, or you might be anaemic, or something, and they just want to give you some iron pills...

    Don't worry about it - they'll be ok.

    they probably need to let the doctor explain if they have found anything wrong, as sometimes, the people who test the blood arent allowed to discuss anything.

    Just go to the doctors, dont worry about it, they will explain everything to you.

    Don't worry about it Hippy. They don't like giving out results over the phone at the best of times, and especially to a relative.

    Even if there is something abnormal showing up on the blood test, it's not the end of the world! You're gonna need to see the doc at some point, so it's better sooner rather than later.

    nah, dont worry about it, same thing happened to me and I found out that I was only slightly aneamic, nowt to worry about...be brave <IMG SRC="smile.gif" border="0" ALT="smile">
