Excuses for not drinking?

I've been prescribed a new medicine, and sadly i'm not able to drink alcohol for the next month.

However, I don't really want my mates to find out about the medication. What reasons can I give for not drinking, without seeming 'stiff'?

    Well you don't have to tell them what the medicine is *for* do you? What do you mean by "stiff"?

    Just tell em you are on antibiotics for some virus or summit.

    Worked for me.
