right this is prob gonna sound orrible but i need to know ok

right when im on my period and go for a pee well sometimes i get this like string of blood coming out too and it just hangs there till i get my tissue n flush it away, know what i mean? do u girls have it to? i know it's just like part of my insides or summat but it's wierd and kinda buggin... plz help

    it's perfectly normal. (everyone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong). menstrual blood isnt actually blood, its the lining of the womb, which contain the gooey squishy stuff that would protect the foetus if you were pregnant etc. but obviously you're not right now, so the linings of your womb come out, sometimes in lumps. i can't think of the actual scientific reason for this, i know there is one though.

    i just wanted to assure you that it is normal.

    ur period is nothing like the water-consistency blue stuff they use on the always ads <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/biggrin.gif"&gt;

    It's thick, goopy, lumpy and smelly and sometimes a little gel-like. Don't panic. It sucks, big time.

    When I went on the pill it made my periods lighter and more predictable, which was nice. The tendency for heavy 7-day period marathons runs in my family, <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/frown.gif"&gt;

    Tampons are less messy, I find, once u get used to using them. U OK now?
