    How long is a piece of string?

    My sentiments are in ANY situation if you need to question it - you don't do it. If it feels right you are going to do it anyways, in your circumstance you don't do it right now since you're questioning it.

    But with the lad I'm seeing just now I slept with him the first time we went out, it was good and unexpected and an inside joke between us. That and chicken pie.

    it depends on your situation and on whether you'd rather wait until you're properly together. if i was seeing someone and liked them (even if we weren't going to get together) then yeh i'd probably sleep with them (i'd probably only be seeing them for the sex anyway!). however when i was with my ex, it was about a month before we slept together - doesn't sound like very long does it haha.

    Slept with my current bloke on the second 'date'. With others I have had sex the first time and did not regret it but this time I wanted to wait. Really it is up to you and wht you feel comfortable with.

    Depends. Some people i'd feel comfortable doing it straight away, others i wouldn't.

    That depends really. My first, i waited for about 3-4 months. My 2nd i waited a week, then my current i waited erm.. about 3 days. All, but the second were long term relationships though and all were safe sex.

    I'm quite shy when it comes to things like that.

    I sometimes want to on the first night, but then sometimes I'm not sure if she does and it's just doesn't quite feel right, y'know? Usually it's cool to wait a few weeks, because it's always nicer when you know a bit about the person and know what they're about aswell, always makes the after sex cuddle even better too.

    Maybe that's just me though.

    I'm not suggesting that you just say 'fancy a shag love?', you can do it more subtly than that, 'did you fancy coming over for dinner on Friday and then maybe staying the night?' for example.

    I would try to wait as long as possible! But it depends on the situation. I think waiting makes it better though, more tension and build up.

    Whenever I'm ready. Although since the first time I've never waited long. Don't see any point. It's going to happen at some point so why should I miss out on something I enjoy ;)
