does the pill make you put on weight? because the nurse i saw today said that you only put on weight because it may increase your appetite. i was just wondering if this is true or does it also slow down your metalibolism?

    yeah i went on the pill and put a few pounds on. so obviosuly me being me i stopped taking it <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/wink.gif">. i think its because the hormones in it tell your body that you are pregnant, so you get a bigger appetite and mad food cravings. or at least thats my theory.

    i was into breakfast cereals and cheese in case you wondered (eww, can't be doing with that <IMG alt="image" alt="image" SRC="http://www.thesite.org/ubb/wink.gif">)

    this is probly not a good thing 2 do but me and my mates are going on the pill cos we heard dat it makes yer chest bigga....

    does anyone know if this is tru?
    has ne1 else try dis b4 ?

    Yeah it depends ont he person but it does. i won't both coz it rarely makes much difference! Only be on it if you need to be!!! and it takes ages to get used to taking it everyday

    Yeah... ur chest grows! but so does r arse!

    i have been on the pill about 6 months, (stopppd taking it now tho) i gained 2 stone and so changed my pills to a different one which was so much better! i didnt get the cravings for food so much, but do still occaionaly!!

    it made my chest grow...... loads!!!! but soon as i stopped taking it, they have nicely shrunk back to a there original size!

    so if ur doing jst for boobs theres no point unless it is for the other things too, contrception etc! also all the men i have been with said they preferred my boobs smaller anyway! (they may be the exception of the male population) but but evry good lookin!

    ps... clara i'm sure u look great as u r! dnt needto worry about r weight! at first depending on the pill u r on it may not be the right one, so if u dnt like it, go back and c ur doctor as there are 1000 of tyes that u can take!

    The pill woun't add enough to change your dress size!
    It's eating too much food and not doing enough excercise that makes you fat!

    I was told the weight you gain is due to increased water retention of your body. And this is also what I experienced. I didn't have any food cravings, nor did my appetite increase.

    im on the pill, ive not eaten more, ive not put on weight, and my boobs are still tiny. lol, maybe im weird, it might happen for some girls. i dunno...

    i've been on the pill for more than a year, and i have never had any side effects like weight gain from it. On the other hand, my breasts did get really sore for the first three months... i guess it just depends on the pill and your reaction to it.

    I've been on the pill for 5 years - SCARY!

    I've put on weight, still only a size 10 though! And my chest just went, wheeeyyhhh Heeyyhh, I'm here!!!
